This is a required course of all first grade students, focussing on English conversation and listening skills.

To be able to ask simple questions.
To be able to ask for repetition when he/she does not understand what the speaker says.
To be able to answer yes/no questions about familiar topics from everyday life.
To be able to express numbers used in familiar ways for everyday purposes.
To be able to apologise for being late.
