本コースは中、上級レベルを対象にした実用的かつユニークな英語総合コースである。教材として通常のテキストブックではなく映画、講師オリジナル教材を使用し日常生活に使えるリアルな英語表現、語彙、異文化コミュニケーション、文化的、歴史、社会的背景そして映画評論記事の書き方、映画批評、討論に関する専門的な用語を修得する。
This unique and practical English course is designed for intermediate and advanced level students. .  We use movies and original materials to study authentic English expressions, movie appreciation, cross-cultural communication and the social and historical background of the movies’ themes. You will also learn the terminology to discuss and write about movies.

(1) リアルな英語表現、語彙、文法を映画を通して修得できる。
(2) 映画に関連したテーマを使い、自分の意見を説明しアクティブなディスカッションを展開することができる。
(3) 映画の概要を含む映画評論記事を書けるようになる。
(1) You can learn authentic English expressions, vocabulary, grammar as featured movies.
(2) Use film-related topics to explain your opinions and develop active discussion.
(3) Learn how to write a film review that includes a summary of the film’s plot.

(1) 授業参加態度点 40％　(2) ライティング課題(1,2,3) 30％　(3) 期末試験 30％
Participation 40% , Writing Assignment  (1,2,3)  30%,  Final Exam  30%
出席が7割未満であったり、不真面目な授業態度（長い離席、授業と関係のないスマートフォン等の操作など）の学生は評価対象とならない。
Students whose attendance is under 70% or who show a bad attitude such as long absences from the classroom or using their smartphone for unrelated activities during the class, WILL NOT BE EVALUATED.

映画批評と語彙。試験時間70分、資料の持ち込み不可。

（アニメーション）アメリカの50年代の歴史、冷戦パラノイア、ビート族文化、ロボットについて学ぶ。
語彙、文法、リスニング、ディスカッションを行う。
