| 授業概要 |
|
The goal of this class is to prepare students for the English academic/professional environment they will face in the future. Students will develop their academic skills while researching and discussing contemporary issues. Most importantly, students will be encouraged to produce English in class. In addition, students will create what they would like to in groups, using their creative skills and knowledge so that they can not only enjoy creating with the peers but also get ready for working in an international environment in the future.
In each lesson, students will engage in group discussion/debate for practicing speaking English and developing their vocabulary, do individual presentation, and learn how to make a successful presentation in groups. The suitable topics for discussion and debate are chosen according to the students' language and understanding levels. The topics will be contemporary issues or daily issues students face with. In addition, students will learn how to properly research for making a successful presentation.
The lessons will be conducted only in English, and Japanese language is prohibited. Students need to understand the necessity of English output skills to participate in SA class.

The objectives for this course are as follows:
Students will make a 7-minute presentation.
Students will enhance their English vocabulary.
Students will become more globally conscious by completing activities that focus on global themes.
Students' ability to communicate their ideas and opinions will increase through communication with other students.
Students will use English to create something in groups.

|
Students will complete a required project in class.
For mid-term presentation, students will do a group presentation.
