授業概要 (Class Overview)

このクラスでは、学生はグループで最終プロジェクトを進め、これまで学んだプレゼンテーションスキル、ビデオ制作スキル、そしてチームワークを活かして、完成度の高いプロジェクトを作り上げます。
In this class, students will work in groups on their final project, utilizing the presentation skills, video production techniques, and teamwork they’ve learned to create a high-quality final product.

最終プロジェクトは、英語を使った「どうやって作るか」テーマのビデオ制作です。
The final project will involve producing a “how-to” themed video in English.
学生はグループメンバーと協力し、ビデオのアイデアを計画・撮影・編集し、プレゼンテーションを行います。
Students will collaborate with group members to plan, shoot, edit, and present their video.

また、クラスでは毎週進捗報告を行い、作業日誌を記録することで、プロジェクトの進行状況を管理します。
Additionally, students will report their progress weekly and maintain a work diary to manage the project timeline.

成績評価方法・基準 (Grading Method and Criteria)

学生の成績は以下の基準に基づいて評価されます。
Student performance will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
1. ミニプレゼンテーション (Mini Presentations): 25%
1人で行うミニプレゼンテーションを2回行います。各回の発表の内容、スライドの使用、発表力を評価します。
Mini Presentations: 25%
Each student will do two mini-presentations on their progress. The content of each presentation, use of slides, and presentation skills will be evaluated.
2. 最終プレゼンテーション (Final Group Presentation): 25%
グループで行う最終プロジェクトの発表です。グループ内での役割分担、内容の構成、発表時の自信と明瞭さを評価します。
Final Group Presentation: 25%
This is the final group project presentation. Evaluation will focus on role distribution within the group, content structure, and clarity and confidence during the presentation.
3. 作業日誌 (Work Diary): 20%
毎週作業日誌を記録し、進捗状況を報告します。作業内容と進行状況に関する反省や次のステップの計画を記入します。
Work Diary: 20%
Students are required to keep a weekly work diary to report their progress. It should include reflections on the tasks completed and plans for the next steps.
4. ビデオ制作 (Video Production): 30%
グループで制作した「どうやって作るか」テーマのビデオの内容と編集技術を評価します。発音とナレーションの明瞭さも評価に含まれます。
Video Production: 30%
The content and editing of the “how-to” video produced in groups will be evaluated. Pronunciation and clarity of narration will also be considered in the evaluation.

成績評価は、各プレゼンテーション、ビデオ制作、作業日誌の提出内容を総合的に考慮して行います。
Grading will take into account the content of each presentation, the video production, and the work diary submitted.

試験時間: 各グループの最終発表は3〜5分。
Duration: Each group’s final presentation will be 3-5 minutes.

配点: 100点（プレゼンテーション: 50%, ビデオ制作: 30%, 作業日誌: 20%）

課題の内容 (Assignment Content)
• グループ編成とトピック選定:
Group Formation and Topic Selection:
最初の授業で、学生はグループを編成し、最終プロジェクトのトピックを選びます。トピックは英語を使用したもので、ビデオ、CGアニメーション、ダンスビデオ、音楽ビデオなど、学生の自由な選択に基づきます。
In the first class, students will form groups and select a topic for their final project. The topic should involve the use of English, and students are free to choose topics like videos, CG animations, dance videos, music videos, etc.
• 毎週の作業日誌の提出:
Weekly Work Diary Submission:
学生は毎週、作業日誌を記録し、Google Classroomに提出します。日誌には進捗状況、取り組んだ内容、今後の予定を記入します。
Students will keep a weekly work diary, which will be submitted on Google Classroom. The diary should include their progress, tasks completed, and plans for the upcoming work.
• ミニプレゼンテーション:
Mini Presentations:
2回のミニプレゼンテーションを行い、最終プロジェクトの進捗状況をクラスに報告します。
Students will give two mini-presentations during the course, updating the class on their progress towards their final project.
• 最終ビデオ制作:
Final Video Production:
学生はグループで「どうやって作るか」テーマのビデオを制作します。このビデオは英語で説明する内容で、編集技術、発音、ナレーションが評価されます。
Students will work in groups to produce a “how-to” themed video. The video should be in English, and will be evaluated on editing skills, pronunciation, and narration.

最終プロジェクトを3〜5分の発表形式でクラスにプレゼンテーションします。
Students will present their final project in a 3-5 minute presentation to the class.

第1回: チーム編成とトピック選定

• 学生はグループを編成し、最終プロジェクトのトピックを選びます。
Students will form groups and choose the topic for their final project.
• トピックは英語を使ったものであれば、ビデオ（音楽ビデオ、CGアニメーション、ダンスビデオ、ビデオゲーム、ストップモーションアニメーション、アニメーションコミックなど）、何でも構いません。
The topic can be anything as long as it involves the use of English—such as a video (music video, CG animation, dance video, video game, stop-motion animation, animated comic, etc.).
• グループメンバーと役割分担を決め、プロジェクトに向けて作業を開始します。
Decide on roles within your group and start working towards your project.

教科書以外に準備するもの（自己手配） (Materials to be Prepared by the Students, Other than the Textbook)
• 毎回の授業に参加し、ノートを取るために、PC、Mac、またはiPadを持参すること。スマートフォンのみの持参はノート取りには不適切です。
Bring a PC, Mac, or iPad to every class for participation in lectures and taking notes. A smartphone is not acceptable for note-taking.

Equipment for recording videos (smartphone, camera, etc.)
• 学生は、GoogleドキュメントやGoogleスライドなどのGoogleアプリに慣れておく必要があります。DHUの学生は、すべてのGoogleアプリを利用でき、Googleドライブの大容量ストレージも提供されています。
Students will be required to familiarize themselves with Google Apps such as Google Documents and Google Slides. All DHU students have access to all Google Apps as well as a generous amount of Google Drive storage.
• 本授業では Nearpod（nearpod.com）というWebアプリを使用し、登録不要かつ無料で利用できます。使用方法については、Google Classroom内および学期最初の授業で教員が説明します。
This course will use the web app Nearpod (nearpod.com), which is free to use and does not require registration. The teacher will explain how to use it on Google Classroom and in the first lesson of the semester.
