授業概要 (Class Overview)

この授業では、プレゼンテーションスキルとビデオ制作スキルを実践的に学びます。最初の6回は、映画やストーリーベースのビデオゲームをレビューする3〜5分の英語プレゼンテーションを作成し、発表します。後半の授業では、3〜4人のグループで「何かをする方法」を説明するビデオを制作します。例えば、3Dアニメーションを作成する過程（スケッチからワイヤーフレームモデリング、レンダリング、ライティング）などをテーマにしたビデオです。
In this class, students will practically learn presentation skills and video production skills. The first six lessons will focus on creating and delivering a 3-5 minute English presentation, reviewing a movie or a story-based video game. In the latter part of the course, students will work in groups of 3-4 to create successive videos explaining how to do something. For example, creating a 3D animation, from sketching to wireframe modeling, rendering, and lighting.

この授業を通じて、効果的なコミュニケーションとビジュアル表現のスキルを向上させると共に、実際のビデオ制作に取り組みます。
Through this course, students will enhance their skills in effective communication and visual expression, while engaging in actual video production.

成績評価方法・基準 (Grading Method and Criteria)

学生の成績は以下の基準に基づいて評価されます。
Student performance will be assessed based on the following criteria:
1. プレゼンテーション (Presentation): 50%
The 3-5 minute individual movie or game review presentation will be evaluated based on the quality of research, script writing, use of slides, and overall delivery.
2. ビデオ制作 (Video Production): 50%
The group video will be assessed on creativity, content accuracy, pronunciation, video editing skills, and how well the video complements the other group members’ work.

成績評価は、スピーチ、プレゼンテーション、ビデオ制作の品質と学生の学習態度を総合的に考慮して行います。
Grading will take into account the quality of the speech, presentation, video production, and the overall engagement and learning attitude of students.

課題の内容 (Assignment Content)
• Google Classroomに参加していることを確認してください。

• 映画またはゲームのレビューについて調べ、3〜5分のプレゼンテーションを作成してください。
Research your selected movie or game and prepare a 3-5 minute presentation.
• プレゼンテーションにはスライド（PowerPointまたはGoogle Slides）を使い、レビュー内容とスクリーンショットを含めてください。
Use PowerPoint or Google Slides for your presentation, including content and screenshots from the movie or game.
• ペアでプレゼンテーションを行い、1回目の発表後、パートナーと交代して再度発表します。

第7回: ビデオ制作の準備と計画

Lesson 7: Video Production Planning and Preparation
• グループを編成し、制作するビデオのテーマを決定します。
Form groups and decide on the theme of the video to be produced.
• 各グループで「どうやって作るか」というテーマに基づくビデオの構成を計画します。
Plan the structure of the video based on the “how-to” theme.
• それぞれの役割分担を決め、各パートを担当するメンバーを決めます。
Assign roles and decide who will be responsible for each part of the video.

Gather necessary materials and resources for the video (e.g., photos, footage, tools, etc.).

Check pronunciation and clarity of narration, making necessary corrections.

• グループごとに最終プレゼンテーションの準備を行います。
Prepare for the final presentation of the video.

第14回: グループプレゼンテーション（1組目）

• 1組目のグループが自分たちのビデオを発表します。
The first group presents their video.
• 発表後、クラスメートと教員からフィードバックをもらいます。
Receive feedback from classmates and the instructor after the presentation.

第15回: グループプレゼンテーション（2組目）

• 2組目のグループが自分たちのビデオを発表します。
The second group presents their video.

第16回: グループプレゼンテーション（3組目＆4組目）と総括

Lesson 16: Group Presentations (Group 3 & 4) and Summary
• 3組目と4組目のグループがそれぞれ自分たちのビデオを発表します。
The third and fourth groups present their videos.
• 最後に、全てのビデオを振り返り、総括を行います。
At the end, review all the videos and discuss the key takeaways from the course.

教科書以外に準備するもの（自己手配） (Materials to be Prepared by the Students, Other than the Textbook)
• 毎回の授業に参加し、ノートを取るために、PC、Mac、またはiPadを持参すること。スマートフォンのみの持参はノート取りには不適切です。
Bring a PC, Mac, or iPad to every class for participation in lectures and taking notes. A smartphone is not acceptable for note-taking.

• 学生は、GoogleドキュメントやGoogleスライドなどのGoogleアプリに慣れておく必要があります。DHUの学生は、すべてのGoogleアプリを利用でき、Googleドライブの大容量ストレージも提供されています。
Students will be required to familiarize themselves with Google Apps such as Google Documents and Google Slides. All DHU students have access to all Google Apps as well as a generous amount of Google Drive storage.
• 本授業では Nearpod（nearpod.com）というWebアプリを使用し、登録不要かつ無料で利用できます。使用方法については、Google Classroom内および学期最初の授業で教員が説明します。
